Monica De Kock

Occupational Therapist

Further to her OT training, Monica is a qualified hippotherapist and has completed a course in Cerebral Palsy and DIR Floortime. She is in the process of furthering her skills by obtaining her Dynamic Movement Intervention (DMI) certification.

The thing that gives Mon the greatest joy is stepping back and watching Little Lives learn to fly over walls that used to seem insurmountable. She loves to be a witness to the light in their eyes that burns ever brighter as they gather confidence to step into the brilliant little person they’ve always been, but never realised they could be.

Mon is inspired by the resilience and determination of little minds – noticing the different and the beautiful in everyday through their eyes.

Anisa Erasmus

Occupational Therapist

Anisa is a calm, creative, compassionate and consistent therapist, always striving to let the child feel like no emotion/obstacle/barrier is too big/challenging.

She is goal-directed and holistic, considering family, school and all contexts that play a role in the child’s life. She loves embarking on the journey together where we discover their unique strengths and potential. She finds joy in seeing children draw upon their inner resources and learn to trust their inner direction to prepare them for life’s tasks.

The thing that Anisa loves the most about being an OT is stepping inside the world of the child and providing them with the space where they can be their most authentic, spontaneous and joyful self.

Casey Nevin

Occupational Therapist

Casey has completed courses in Cerebral Palsy and introduction to DIR Floortime. She has a growing interest in Sensory Integration, particularly how it is interlinked with emotions, body, behaviour, skills, and how we experience the world.

Casey has always had a heart for children – especially those who are quiet, sometimes misunderstood or on the outskirts. She loves witnessing that moment when they think they can’t do something and then finally do it.

The thing Casey values the most, in therapy and in life, is relationships. She finds that sharing a bond acts as a firm foundation that leads to exciting breakthroughs. She prioritises fostering trusting, authentic relationships with the Little Lives she works with.
